Job summary

East Bay Endoscopy Center is seeking an Ambulatory Surgery Center Clinical Administrator to lead clinical operations and supervise medical personnel. You will report to the Regional Director and ensure coordination of care and supporting services across the center.

The role emphasizes leadership, policy interpretation, budgeting, and staff development. Nursing leadership, GI experience, and RN licensure are valued as you oversee OR activities and service delivery in a busy ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license.
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
• GI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administration and supervision of all medical personnel.
• Coordination of medical care and related supporting services of the ambulatory surgical center.
• Allocation and completion of daily operations and interpretation of departmental philosophy, objectives, policy and procedure.
• Coordination of the provision and control of materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Oversight of the OR suite activities and coordination with the Director of Supply.
• Staff development, evaluation of personnel, and ensuring compliance with nursing standards.
• Enforcement and interpretation of policies and procedures; counseling and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Fiscal management including monitoring budget compliance and contributing to the services budget.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards and maintain quality patient care.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Current Registered Nurse License

Current American Heart Assn. BLS and ACLS certifications
