Job summary

Northeast Regional Surgery Center is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse Clinical Director to oversee day-to-day operating room operations and drive process improvements that enhance patient care and experience.

The role reports to the Administrator and focuses on fiscal accountability, policy development, credentialing, risk management, and staff performance. Requires OR experience and supervisory background in outpatient surgery, with RN licensure and CPR/ALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Currently licensed in the state.
• CPR required, advanced life support certification required.
• At least two years operating room experience.
• At least two years of supervisory experience in the outpatient surgery area.
• Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.
• Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.

Responsibilities

• Devise strategies and plans for the clinical department per company standards.
• Manage budgeting and resource planning.
• Oversee patient care and administrative operations.
• Recruit qualified staff for the department.
• Assign cases and create staff schedules.
• Coordinate and supervise staff with feedback.
• Provide training and ongoing professional development.
• Evaluate performance and address disciplinary issues.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and quality standards.
