Job summary

Cedar Ridge Health & Rehab Center in Lebanon, IL is seeking an experienced RN to join our leadership team as Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). You will support the Director of Nursing, mentor staff, and ensure high-quality resident care in a long-term care setting.

As part of our team you’ll lead daily operations, participate in care planning and quality improvement, and collaborate with physicians, residents, and families to uphold dignity and safety.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois RN license required
• Long-term care experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Organized, dependable, and team-focused professional
• Passionate about resident care and supporting nursing teams
• Enthusiastic about leadership growth and creating a positive work environment

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Nursing with daily nursing operations
• Lead, train, and mentor nursing staff members
• Assist with care planning, quality improvement initiatives, and regulatory compliance
• Communicate with physicians, residents, and family members regarding resident care needs
• Help ensure excellent resident care and efficient nursing department workflow
• Make daily rounds to support staff, identify concerns, and follow up appropriately
• Assist with staff education, onboarding, and development
• Support resident dignity, safety, and quality outcomes
• Step in where needed to support teamwork and facility operations
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management in a resident-centered care environment
