Job summary

Cedars of Lebanon in Lebanon, OH seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for the Behavioral Unit to lead nursing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate care planning. Requires an active RN license, long-term care experience, and strong communication; management experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN license required.
• Experience in long-term care settings.
• 2 years of management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, development, organization, implementation, evaluation, and direction of the nursing department in the behavioral unit.
• Participate in recruiting, selecting, and training department personnel.
• Develop and conduct regular in-service training to meet regulations.
• Coordinate RAI processes, ensure timely MDS/CAA/Interdisciplinary Care Plans.
• Supervise completion of assessments and input MDS data to the state.
• Facilitate care plan conferences and monthly Quality Management meetings.
• Manage the care planning process to ensure high-quality patient care.
