Job summary

Cedars of Lebanon is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for the Behavioral Unit. In this leadership role, you will guide the nursing staff, support planning, organization, implementation, evaluation, and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate the RAI process, supervise assessments, facilitate care plan conferences, and lead monthly Quality Management meetings to enhance resident care.

Qualifications

• RN license required
• Experience in long-term care settings
• 2 years of management experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, development, organization, implementation, evaluation, and direction of the nursing department in the behavioral unit
• Participate in recruiting, selecting, and training department personnel
• Develop and conduct regular in-service training to meet federal and state regulations
• Coordinate the RAI process, ensure timely completion of MDS, CAA's, and care plans
• Supervise completion of assessments and input/transmission of MDS data to the state
• Facilitate care plan conferences and monthly Quality Management meetings
• Manage the care planning process to ensure high-quality patient care
