Job summary

Ascension Health in Chicago, IL seeks a skilled Nursing Manager to lead daily operations at Resurrection Village Life Center. You will guide clinical teams on the floor, ensure high-quality care, and maintain strong regulatory compliance.

This role requires an RN license, a nursing diploma, and at least 5 years of leadership experience, with 2 years in management. You’ll oversee staffing, admissions, and interdepartmental coordination to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with license prior to hire date.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
• 5 years of experience required; 2 years in leadership/management.
• 10 years leadership/management experience preferred.
• BLS Provider preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on clinical leadership for daily skilled nursing operations on the floor.
• Oversee CMS/state/federal regulatory compliance via audits and performance improvement.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, coaching and staff education.
• Manage resident admissions, discharges and interdisciplinary coordination for optimal outcomes.
