UF Health in Gainesville seeks a Registered Professional Nurse to assess patient health status, identify changes, implement nursing interventions, and evaluate outcomes. You will coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and involve patients and families in planning and ongoing care.

Responsibilities include supervising Licensed Practical Nurses and Unlicensed Assistive Personnel, delegating appropriate tasks, and maintaining a positive, collaborative unit environment while advancing nursing

Competenze

• BSN required or preferred; must obtain BSN within three years of hire for those hired after Apr 30, 2014
• Certification required within eligibility timelines for those certifications requiring more than two years of experience
• Current RN license in the State of Florida

Mansioni

• Identify patient health alterations and assess responses to health problems
• Implement nursing interventions based on nursing theory and other sciences
• Evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions to achieve optimal outcomes
• Supervise/direct care by LPNs and Unlicensed Assistive Personnel
• Assign/delegate care to qualified team members and coordinate care with other disciplines
• Contribute to a positive work environment and uphold patient advocacy
