Qualifications

• RN license in good standing (state licensed)
• CPR certification or CPR certification within 90 days of employment
• 1–2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute care preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervises LPNs, CNAs, and other staff providing direct care
• Plans, assigns, and directs work according to resident needs and staff capabilities
• Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed
• Transfers employees among units per staffing demands
• Completes performance evaluations and provides input on hiring or disciplinary actions
• Oversee unit operations during absence of higher-level management
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and laws
