Job summary

Regency at Livonia is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee and coordinate resident care across shifts, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans, supervising LPNs, CNAs, and other staff to maintain high-quality care and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute care preferred.
• Current state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Current CPR certification or CPR certification within 90 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Supervises LPNs, Medication Aides, CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care
• Plans, assigns, and directs work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities
• Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed
• Transfers employees among units per staffing demands
• Completes performance evaluations and provides input on hiring, disciplining, or terminating staff
• Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns
• Oversee unit operations during absence of higher-level management
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
