Job summary

SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital Midwest is seeking a PRN nursing administration professional to support daily operations and staff education. You will mentor assigned staff, monitor workflow, and collaborate with department leaders to improve performance and patient care outcomes.

Ideal candidates have two years of RN experience and a nursing license with eligibility for state practice. Responsibilities include staff supervision, training, and developing procedures to ensure compliant operations

Qualifications

• RN with licensed credential and ability to supervise staff.
• Two years’ registered nurse experience required.
• Experience mentoring, coaching, and training clinical staff preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor workflow and daily volumes with department leader.
• Mentor and train staff; support orientation and problem solving.
• Oversee staff planning, attendance, and time-off processes.
• Assist with development of training materials and manuals.
• Lead or participate in regular staff/department meetings.
• Model professional nursing standards per ANA code of ethics.
• Identify performance and quality concerns and address them appropriately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
