Job summary

SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital Midwest, a PRN nursing leadership role, coordinates daily operations with the leadership team to ensure clinical objectives and quality patient care across ministries.

The role directs and mentors nursing and support staff, manages patient flow, and coordinates care during emergencies, while contributing to staff development and incident command when needed.

Qualifications

• Two years' registered nurse experience with progressive leadership responsibility.
• Graduate of accredited school of nursing or equivalent licensing.
• Ability to coordinate daily operations with leadership and clinical objectives.

Responsibilities

• Assigns, directs, educates and monitors nursing and support staff during assigned shift.
• Manages patient flow within assigned area.
• Provides support and coordination for patient emergencies.
• Opens and leads incident command for disasters when required.
• Evaluates patient care effectiveness and addresses issues impacting outcomes.
• Responds to complaints and contributes to staff development.
