Job summary

Mercy Home Health seeks a Clinical Nurse II to lead a Care Delivery Team and coordinate the nursing care of a defined group of patients. You will demonstrate clinical leadership, perform independent assessment, planning, and evaluation of patient needs, and precept new staff as assigned.

This role is part of Mercy Health’s collective bargaining unit and requires strong communication skills to work with diverse patient backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a state-accredited school of nursing.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• Complete orientation and probationary period with Orientation Checklist.
• Minimum 12 contact hours of CE annually including Fire Safety and CPR recertification; ACLS required.
• Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing with people from varying backgrounds.

• Lead a Care Delivery Team and direct care for a patient group.
• Demonstrate clinical leadership and nursing competencies.
• Precept new employees as assigned.
