Job summary

Adventist Health Simi Valley is seeking an experienced nurse leader to supervise unit staff and collaborate with the Nurse Manager, Director, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams. You will oversee care plans, ensure patient safety, and work to improve patient satisfaction while managing resources and performance.

The role requires RN licensure in California with a Bachelor’s in Nursing; a Master’s degree and supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
• Master's Degree: Preferred
• Five years' technical experience: Preferred
• Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills: Required

Responsibilities

• Provides unit-based leadership in the development and provision of clinical services.
• Supervises and directs unit personnel; coordinates care plans for patients and families.
• Ensures patient safety and high patient satisfaction; participates in performance improvement.
• Assesses staffing needs, manages schedules, and coaches staff as needed.
