Job summary

Genesis HealthCare in Warwick, RI is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide efficient, high-quality nursing care under supervision, following the State Nurse Practice Act. The RN will assess patients, develop care plans, and work with LPNs and CNAs to optimize outcomes.

You will collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, document accurately in PCC EHR, ensure safe discharge planning, and participate in mentorship and onboarding of new staff.

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Active, current RN license in the state.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• Experience in long-term care, post-acute, geriatric nursing preferred.
• Proficient English communication for clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to achieve positive clinical outcomes.
• Perform physical assessments, nursing diagnoses, and care plan development.
• Collaborate with LPNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team.
• Provide safe discharge planning and patient/family education.
• Maintain accurate real-time documentation in PCC EHR.
