Job summary
Genesis HealthCare in Cumberland, RI seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality patient care and lead care planning within a collaborative team. You will perform assessments, administer medications, and coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to ensure safe discharges and positive outcomes.
The role requires an active RN license in Rhode Island, BLS/CPR certification, and a commitment to HIPAA, infection-control standards, and compassionate,
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN).
- Active RN license issued by the Rhode Island State Board.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Experience in long-term care, post-acute or geriatric nursing preferred.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Must pass health screenings, including TST, per state guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive clinical assessments and develop care plans.
- Supervise and delegate to LPNs and CNAs as appropriate.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for care plans.
- Mentor and onboard newly hired nursing staff.
- Maintain real-time documentation in PCC EHR software.
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and infection-control standards.
