Genesis in New Jersey is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to residents in a long-term care setting. You will perform nursing assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with the care team to develop effective plans of care.

This role emphasizes compassionate communication with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team, with responsibilities including goal setting, coordinating care, and ensuring safety and compliance with physician orders.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing and currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
• CPR Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and collaborate with the nursing team, other disciplines, patients, and families to develop effective plans of care.
• Establish realistic, measurable short- and long-term patient goals with interventions as needs arise to minimize rehospitalizations and evaluate outcomes.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
• Delegate patient care responsibilities to staff and supervise them to ensure tasks and interventions are implemented.
• Communicate patient information with assigned staff and between shifts.
