Job summary

McCormick in Bloomington, IN seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate resident care and support in activities of daily living. You will assist with meals, hygiene, mobility, and monitoring residents while ensuring their health, welfare, and safety.

Maintain privacy and confidentiality, adhere to HIPAA, and follow all relevant policies. A current Indiana CNA certification and CPR are required; long-term care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with Indiana state laws.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CPR certification required and maintained.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with feeding meals and providing water between meals.
• Assist with personal hygiene tasks including hygiene aids and showers.
• Assist residents with mobility and positioning.
• Monitor vital signs and record intake/output.
• Respond to resident needs and communicate observations to nursing staff.
• Complete required forms and maintain accurate records.
• Protect resident privacy and confidentiality; comply with HIPAA and related laws.
• Follow professional standards and facility policies and procedures.
