The RN will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care and health education for residents under the Director of Nursing. The role requires compassion and a patient-centered approach to care.

Qualifications

• RN supervision of CNAs and other staff.
• Plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care for residents.
• Safe and accurate medication interventions and transcription of orders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise care/services provided by CNAs and other staff.
• Coordinate nursing care on the unit and ensure appropriate care.
• Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions.
• Transcribe and implement physician orders accurately.
• Assess residents and notify physician of changes and update orders.
• Develop and implement a care plan based on assessment.
• Institute interventions to stabilize conditions and prevent complications.
• Contribute to resident assessments and care plan development.
