Job summary

The Lodge at Sandhills Carolina in Pinehurst, NC seeks a clinical and organizational leader to support the Director of Nursing. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of supervisory experience in long-term care, be compassionate and caring, and manage multiple priorities with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• At least one year of supervisory experience in long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Supports Medicare/Medicaid regulatory compliance and reporting.
• Ensures staff orientation and regular in-servicing.
• Maintains communication with residents and families about care.
• Provides input for annual performance reviews of nursing staff.
• Reviews changes in regulations and ensures staff compliance.
• Updates standards of practice and infection control knowledge.
• Supports infection control and antibiotic stewardship programs.
• Coordinates information flow for continuity of care and discharge planning.
• Participates in on-call/weekend RN coverage as needed.
