Job summary

Universal Health Services’ Metropolitan Behavioral Health in Michigan seeks an Admissions RN for full-time day shifts (7 a.m.–7 p.m.). The role collaborates with intake, psychiatry, and unit staff to ensure safe admissions, complete comprehensive assessments, and accurate handoffs using the EMR system.

The position requires an active Michigan RN license, hospital and preferably psychiatric-hospital experience, and willingness to rotate evenings/nights/weekends in a fast-paced multidisciplinary

Qualifications

Michigan RN license required.
Hospital experience required.
Psychiatric hospital experience strongly preferred.
Willing to work evenings/nights/weekend rotation.
Comfortable in fast-paced environment and multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and facilitate admission of patients.
Perform level of care assessments for walk-in and direct admit patients.
Complete intake documentation and consents using EMR and admission packets.
Ensure proper precautions, documentation, and safe handoff to receiving nurse.
