Job summary
AdventHealth in Castle Rock, CO is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery. You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and coordinate with the care team.
Requirements include an Associate Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), an active RN license with BLS, and a minimum of two years’ Labor and Delivery experience. This full-time night-shift role offers competitive pay, benefits from day one, and opportunities
Qualifications
- Associates of Nursing required; Bachelor preferred.
- RN license required and BLS certification.
- Minimum 2 years Labor and Delivery experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive obstetric assessments.
- Develop and implement care plans for labor and delivery patients.
- Administer medications safely per orders and protocols.
- Educate patients and families about conditions and self-care.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure coordinated care.
- Document patient information accurately in the medical record.
- Respond to code situations and stabilize patients.
