AdventHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery on the Night shift in Kansas. The role involves comprehensive patient assessments, development and adjustment of care plans, medication administration, and patient-family education within a high-acuity obstetric setting.

Applicants should have an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred) and RN licensure. Sign-on bonus available; Clinical Ladder opportunities may apply.

Qualifications

• Licensed registered nurse with RN credentials.
• Experience in labor and delivery is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, and social aspects.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and regularly evaluate outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and home care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure safety.
• Document patient information timely and accurately in medical records.
• Respond promptly to code situations and participate in performance improvement activities.
