AdventHealth in Castle Rock, CO, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for night shift coverage. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and holistic care aligned with our mission.

Requirements include RN licensure, BLS/CPR, and 1+ acute care hospital experience. Knowledge of EKG and proficient computer skills are desired to support high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• RN license required in the state.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, evaluating and revising as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments safely according to physician orders.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and ensure effective communication.
• Document patient information and interventions accurately in the medical record.
• Ensure infection control, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate tasks within the care team.
• Engage in professional development and performance improvement activities.
• Respond promptly to code situations to stabilize patients.
