Job summary

AdventHealth in Castle Rock, Colorado is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, implement and adjust care plans, administer medications, educate patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective care.

The role emphasizes documentation, infection control, and continuous professional development within a faith-based health system.

Qualifications

Experience applying nursing care methods and procedures.
Bachelor's preferred for progression but not required.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
Develop and implement individualized care plans and monitor outcomes.
Administer medications and treatments per orders and protocols; monitor adverse reactions.
Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care.
Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care and ensure safety and compliance.
Document patient information accurately and timely in the medical record.
