Job summary

AdventHealth in Castle Rock, Colorado seeks a Registered Nurse for night shift to assess, plan and deliver patient care across units, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team. You will administer medications, educate patients and families, document care accurately, and ensure safety and quality standards.

Requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing; RN license and BLS; Bachelor's degree preferred and strong English communication.

Qualifications

RN degree and state license required including BLS.
English fluency in reading, writing and speaking.
Experience in acute care setting preferred.
Willingness to work night shifts.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to guide care planning.
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols.
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care.
Document care activities and patient responses accurately in the medical record.
Collaborate with the care team to coordinate services and ensure patient safety.
Respond to changes in patient status and participate in performance improvement activities.
