Job summary

Olympia Fields Hospital in Olympia Fields, IL is seeking a Part-Time Night RN in Labor and Delivery to provide safe, compassionate care to mothers and newborns.

You will perform the nursing process, educate families, and coordinate with the Birthplace team; a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 is offered for qualified candidates.

BSN preferred with required certifications; nights shift; competitive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BSN degree preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days and maintain current.
• ACLS certification within 90 days and maintain current.
• NRP certification within 90 days and maintain current.
• Basic Fetal monitoring within 60 days of hire and maintain current.
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certificate within 12 months.
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certificate preferred.
• STABLE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in the Birthplace.
• Provide direct patient care and supervise staff.
• Educate patients and families and guide other nursing personnel.
• Respond quickly to changes in condition and treatment.
• Ensure safety for mothers and newborns antepartum and postpartum.
