Corewell Health’s Dearborn Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Women Infant Services Unit – OB Antepartum Delivery on the 3rd Floor. This full-time night-shift position supports a Level 3 birthing center with 17 LDR rooms and 3 OR suites, focusing on high-risk pregnancy and safe, patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate holds an Associates in Nursing, MI RN license, and certifications (BLS/NRP/EFM) with a focus on teamwork and education in a teaching hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing required within 5 years if new graduate.
• Graduates from non-accredited schools must have acute care exp or licensed health care role and pass NCLEX.
• MI RN license required or new grad within 60 days of hire.
• BLS/NRP/EFM certifications required or in training as noted.
• NRP within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• EFM certification within 1 year.
• Specialty certification recommended within 2 years.
• Inpatient acute care RN experience preferred, especially L&D.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process and patient-family centered care.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and multidisciplinary team.
• Document education and learning in health records.
