Job summary
Henry Ford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Special Care Nursery. This full-time position requires night shifts (7pm–7:30am) and every 3rd weekend, within our Michigan network.
The role focuses on delivering comprehensive perinatal care across multiple units, guided by nursing processes and patient-centered principles. Ideal candidates will be licensed in Michigan, hold BLS certification, and have graduation from an approved RN program; Labor & Delivery
Qualifications
- Licensed RN credentialed from Michigan Board of Nursing required within 2 months of hire.
- BLS certification from AHA required within 3 months of hire.
- Labor & Delivery experience preferred.
- Graduate of an approved RN program.
Responsibilities
- Uses independent professional judgment, analytical skills, and the nursing process to provide a full range of delegated, interdependent, and independent nursing services to patients.
- Adheres to the Seven Dimensions of Patient Care and Benner's Domains of Nursing Practice while assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care.
- Demonstrates clinical competence, compassion, customer service orientation, and cost-consciousness in patient care.
