Job summary

Corewell Health South – Lakeland Hospitals is seeking aRegistered Nurse for the Women Infant Svcs Unit OB Postpartum Nursery in Niles, MI. The RN follows the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care with a patient-family centered approach.

The role requires MI RN licensure, BLS/NRP/C-EFM certifications, and ACLS preferred for Labor & Delivery; night shift with 36 hours per week, starting 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Graduates from non-accredited nursing schools must have acute care experience or 2 years in licensed healthcare and pass the NCLEX.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• BLS within 90 days; NRP within 90 days; C-EFM within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to provide professional care and patient-family centered planning.
• Collaborate with Nurse Leader and care teams to discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families; document education in the health record.
