Job summary
Corewell Health seeks a part-time nurse for the Gerber OB unit, a private-room, mother–baby centered unit serving labor through postpartum care. The role supports day and night shifts with a collaborative environment for safe, individualized obstetric care.
The position requires RN licensure in Michigan with Associates and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing within five years, plus BLS/ACLS/PALS/ENPC/TNCC certifications within specified timelines. Benefits are offered to eligible staff.
Qualifications
- Associates in Nursing required.
- Bachelors in Nursing required within 5 years.
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) required.
- BLS required within 90 days.
- ACLS required within 6 months.
- PALS - AHA within 180 days.
- ENPC - ENA within 1 year.
- TNCC - ENA within 1 year.
Responsibilities
- Delivers nursing care per ANA nursing process across assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation.
- Upholds ethical practice, culturally congruent care, communication, collaboration and quality practice.
- Supports safe, individualized care for mothers and babies.
- Works within a team to ensure optimal outcomes for obstetric patients.
