Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking an experienced RN for Labor & Delivery at the Fort Worth location. The role involves night shifts (6:45 PM–7:15 AM), 36 hours per week, with weekend and holiday requirements and some call obligations.

The unit features 18-bed LDRs, 5 OB/ED bays, and 3 OR suites, serving a high-volume patient population. Requirements include an Associate degree or Nursing Diploma, BSN preferred, and RN licensure upon hire.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required upon hire.
• BCLS certification required before providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• NRP Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days is required.
• NRPA-Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days is required.
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually, 90 days required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients using the Nursing Process.
• Assesses the patient.
• Plans the care of the patient.
• Intervenes as appropriate.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions.
• Incorporates age-specific safety and infection control into care.
• Initiates information-sharing with patients and families.
• Maintains continuity of patient care across shifts and locations, including transfers.
