Job summary

Texas Health Allen is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Labor & Delivery (LDRP) on the night shift. This full-time role offers 36 hours weekly, from 7:00pm to 7:00am, in the Mom/Baby Department with a collaborative team focus.

Requirements include a Diploma in Nursing or an Associate degree; BSN is preferred. Texas RN licensure, BCLS, CPI, NRP, ACLS, and an RN residency or 1 year of L&D experience are strongly preferred. Recruitment email available.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Nursing or Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program.
• BSN preferred.
• One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process.
• Assesses the patient.
• Plans the care of the patient.
• Intervenes as appropriate.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions.
• Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
• Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift and during transfers.
