Texas Health Southwest in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Nursing Supervisor – Labor & Delivery. This full-time night shift (6:45 AM–7:15 PM) requires 36 hours/week with weekend/holiday coverage as needed.

The unit has a 15-bed LDR, 3 OR suites, 26-bed Mother/Baby, and a 16-bed Level III NICU, with 270–300 deliveries monthly. Qualifications include an Associate degree or Nursing Diploma (BSN preferred), RN on hire, and BCLS/NRP/NRPA/AWHONN or IFM/CPI certifications, plus leadership experience as a

Qualificações

• Labor & Delivery RN experience needed.
• RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required.
• BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly.
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days is required.
• NRPA-Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program 90 Days Required.
• AWHONN - Advanced Fetal Monitoring 6 Months Required Or IFM - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring 6 Months Required.
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Required.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborates with Leadership to establish, implement, and monitor department policies and procedures.
• Provides bedside leadership, coordinates patient flow and staff assignments, and supports budget and productivity goals.
• Facilitates patient/nurse assignments based on volume and acuity.
• Delivers staff orientation, education, and ongoing competency assessment.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
