Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking a part-time Labor & Delivery RN for night shifts at the Fort Worth campus. The role involves delivering patient care, assessing patients, planning and implementing care, and ensuring safety and infection control. Requires RN licensure and obstetric experience.

Candidate should have an Associate degree or Nursing Diploma, with BSN preferred, and must obtain ACLS, NRP, NRPA and CPI certifications within 90 days of hire. Weekend/holiday coverage applies.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required upon hire.
• 1 year RN experience or completion of an RN residency program.
• 18+ months L&D RN experience from a Level 3 or above maternal designated facility strongly preferred.
• ACLS, NRP, NRPA and CPI certifications required within 90 days of hire.
• BSN is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process.
• Assesses the patient.
• Plans the care of the patient.
• Intervenes as appropriate.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions.
• Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
