Texas Health Resources is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Labor & Delivery on the Night shift at Texas Health Alliance in Fort Worth, TX. The role is full-time nights, 36 hours weekly across 3-12 hour shifts (7:00 pm – 7:00 am).

The L&D unit features Level III Maternal designation and NICU, with 14 LDR rooms and 24-bed postpartum/newborn care. Requires RN license; Associate Degree or Diploma; BSN preferred; multiple certifications due within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• RN - Registered Nurse on Hire required.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required before independent patient care.
• ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• NRP within 90 days of hire; NRPA required.
• CP I - Crisis Prevention Intervention training within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of RN experience or completion of RN residency program required.
• At least 1 year Labor & Delivery experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients using the Nursing Process.
• Assesses the patient and plans care accordingly.
• Intervenes as needed and evaluates outcomes.
• Maintains age-specific safety and infection control measures.
• Ensures continuity of care across shifts and transfers.
