Job summary

AdventHealth in Castle Rock, Colorado is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery. You will evaluate patients, develop care plans, administer medications, and educate families while collaborating with the clinical team.

The role requires RN licensure, 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience, and strong communication. A sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available, with full-time night shifts and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

RN license required and must be in good standing.
AS nursing required; BSN preferred.
Labor and Delivery experience required (1 year).

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
