Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery in Louisville, CO. This full-time role requires a minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience, with RN licensure and BLS certification.

The position offers a night shift, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits from day one. Eligible clinicians may advance through the Clinical Ladder; relocation assistance and a $10K sign-on bonus are available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Associates of Nursing is required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Strong nursing fundamentals with licensure in nursing.
• English fluency and computer literacy expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological and psychosocial factors.
• Develop and revise individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Coordinate care with medical staff to ensure effective teamwork.
• Document patient information accurately in medical records.
• Assess care effectiveness and adjust plans to improve outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance in the unit.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise care provided by team members and delegate tasks as needed.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and performance improvement.
