Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is hiring a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Labor and Delivery team. The role focuses on overseeing patient care delivery, directing nursing assignments, and coordinating with physicians and families to ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification preferred or required as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Oversees delivery of patient care and directs assignments to nursing staff based on patient needs and staff capability.
• Maintains clinical competency in direct patient care and evaluates outcomes.
• Coordinates patient care with patient, family, physicians, and other disciplines.
• Ensures patients understand rights, informed consent, and discharge instructions.
• Maintains knowledge of current nursing standards and hospital policies to improve patient care.
