Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking an experienced RN for OB ICU maternity care, with focus on labor, delivery, and immediate newborn support. Responsibilities include caring for laboring patients, fetal monitoring, and anesthesia recovery in the PACU, plus ensuring safe, high-quality care from admission through the first hours of life.

The role requires RN licensure in Texas (or compact), BSN, BLS, ACLS/NRP within specified timelines, and preferred C-EFM experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing.
• BSN required.
• Current TX RN License or RN multi-state compact license.
• Current American Heart Association BLS provider.
• ACLS and NRP required within 3 months of hire.
• NRP within 3 months of hire for interns, ACLS within one year.
• AWHONN courses or equivalent required within 1 year.
• C-EFM preferred.
• 1 year of L&D in hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality care for laboring patients from admission to post-delivery.
• Care for vaginal and C-section births, fetal monitoring, anesthesia recovery.
• Care for newborns in PACU and first hours of life.
• Support family-centered maternity care.
