Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse to support obstetric patients through labor and delivery, recovery and the immediate postpartum period, and to provide newborn care in Arizona.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Labor and delivery or obstetric nursing experience.
• RN licensure in the state of practice; BLS and NRP certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor obstetric patients throughout labor, delivery and recovery.
• Perform continuous fetal monitoring and interpret fetal heart rate tracings.
• Administer medications, IV therapy and oxytocin or other agents per physician orders.
• Assist the provider during vaginal and operative deliveries and provide immediate newborn care.
• Recognize obstetric and neonatal emergencies and initiate appropriate intervention.
• Provide postpartum care, newborn assessment, feeding support and discharge education.

Job Summary

Education & Experience
