Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide obstetric care through labor, delivery, recovery and the immediate postpartum period, and to newborns after birth. You will monitor maternal and fetal status, recognize complications and intervene as directed, while supporting families through the birth experience.

The ideal candidate has an accredited nursing degree, RN licensure in the state, and obstetric nursing experience.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Labor and delivery/obstetric nursing experience required.
• RN licensure in the state of practice required.

Responsabilidades

• Assess and monitor obstetric patients throughout labor, delivery and recovery.
• Perform continuous fetal monitoring and interpret fetal heart rate tracings.
• Administer medications, IV therapy and oxytocin or other agents per physician orders.
• Assist the provider during vaginal and operative deliveries and provide immediate newborn care.
• Recognize obstetric and neonatal emergencies and initiate appropriate intervention.
• Provide postpartum care, newborn assessment, feeding support and discharge education.

Job Summary

Supports patients and families throughout the birth experience and provides newborn and postpartum education.

Education & Experience

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing: Required
• Labor and delivery or obstetric nursing experience: Required

Licenses & Certifications

• Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification: Required
