Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health's St. Mary's Hospital in Virginia is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery. The role rotates between day and night shifts with a full-time night option.

You will assess patient status, develop care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, compassionate obstetric care. Requirements include RN licensure and OB experience or training.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Graduate degree in Nursing (ASN or BSN).
• Obstetric experience or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status.
• Determining the priority of the patient’s problems and needs.
• Implementing clinical nursing interventions for acute, critical patients.
• Developing and performing patient care plans to improve outcomes.
• Ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Provide obstetrical/women's health care across pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and neonatal care.
