Job summary

Mercy South is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery on the Night Shift. You will deliver high-quality nursing care, perform assessments, and develop care plans while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current RN license in the state of practice or Compact RN License.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to patients across all age groups.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement, monitor, and evaluate treatment plans and patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and compliance standards.
