Job summary

LaborEdge, LLC is seeking a Labor & Delivery/Post Partum RN Day Rotator for a 25-bed unit in Massachusetts. The role involves rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights) with EOW, covering L&D, PP, and newborn care.

Candidates must hold a Massachusetts RN license, with BLS, NRP and EFM renewals every 2 years. ACLS preferred; EPIC is the charting system. Experience in L&D settings is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Massachusetts.
• BLS, NRP & EFM required (renewal every 2 years for L&D).
• ACLS preferred (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Provide circulating nurse coverage for Labor & Delivery, Postpartum and newborn care.
• Assist with patient monitoring, care coordination and safety during rotations.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for charting and documentation.

LD and Postpartum RN Day Rotator

Shift: Rotate between 7:00am to 7:30pm, 11:00am to 11:30pm, and 7:00pm to 7:30am with EOW.Unit Name: Labor & Delivery/Post Partum Unit.Brief Unit Description: 25-Bed Labor & Delivery Unit which encompasses: L&D, PP, NBN, 2 ORs, 2 RRs and 2 ANU rooms.Years of Experience Required: 3 years minimum.Skill Sets Required: Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Circulate, & Newborn Care. Clinician to Patient Ratio: L&D 1:2-3 Evals, 1:1 Active Labor, Magnesium gtt or EPIDURAL. PP 1:3-4.Bed Count: 5 LD Rooms, 12 PP, 2 ORs, 2 RR, 2 ANU rooms with 4 beds.Census: Average daily census 15-25 mothers, babies and labors.EMR (Charting System): EPIC.Floating Required: No.Rotating Shifts Required: Day Rotate position is primarily a Day position with rotation to Eves and Nights as needed. We cannot offer straight Days.Certifications Required: Current Massachusetts RN License. BLS, NRP & EFM (every 2 years for L&D).Additional Information: AHA ACLS (preferred).
