Description:This position is for a Nurse specializing in labor and delivery.The role involves providing care for patients during labor and recovery.Travelers may be required to float between various like units within their skill set.Patients will include adolescents, infants, and adults.Daily census includes an average of 160 births per month.There are multiple resources available including respiratory services and social services.Candidates must commit to working three of the five holidays throughout the contract.All requests for time off or specific scheduling must be submitted upfront.Inflexibility regarding the contracted schedule may lead to termination of the contract.Providers will be expected to comply with all required procedures and communicate effectively.References from past employers covering one year of experience are required before starting the position.Candidates must have the necessary skills and experience to work effectively in a dynamic environment.All necessary communication devices will be provided to perform duties as assigned.
