Job summary

Cynet Health seeks an experienced RN for a 13-week Labor and Delivery assignment in Maryville, TN. The role involves 3x12 night shifts with on-call duties and weekend coverage as needed. Active RN license and obstetric certifications are required, along with EPIC proficiency.

Description:

Shift: 3x12 Nights.

Call required.Weekend coverage: every other weekend, but may vary based on unit needs.Must have BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications.Active RN license is required.Floating to other units is required but will only be assigned based on skill set.Must have experience with triage assessments, inductions, cesareans, external versions, NSTs, circumcisions, and newborn resuscitation/stabilization.Patient diagnoses include term labor, antepartum surveillance, newborn care, and various gynecological medical/surgical cases.Experience with overflow female non-infectious medical cases required.Common patient conditions include diabetes and pre-eclampsia.No first-time travelers will be accepted.Preferred experience includes previous charge experience.Charting system experience required.Familiarity with administration of medications and handling various maternal and neonatal conditions.Candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform various nursing skills relevant to labor and delivery, including assistance with vaginal delivery, cesarean sections, and postpartum care.Staff is expected to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and provide comprehensive care to patients throughout labor and delivery.
