Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an RN in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week contract. Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends, unit with 32 beds, patient care ratio 1:2.

Active RN license required, 2+ years L&D, BLS/ACLS/NRP/ETC. This role uses Meditech; experience with high-volume unit and internal monitor placement is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Experience in EFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP, SVE competency, and C-Section circulation.

Responsibilities

• Care for Labor and Delivery patients in a high-volume unit.
• Perform procedures including SVD, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC as directed.

Description:This is a contract position for an RN in Labor and Delivery.The shift is from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with rotating weekends.There are no call requirements.The unit has a total of 32 beds.The patient care ratio is 1:2.Night shifts include 1 charge nurse and 1 co-charge nurse to accommodate staffing needs.Equipment used includes Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound.The EMR system used is Meditech.Typical procedures performed on the unit include SVD, cerclages, C-Sections, and TOLAC.Candidates should be team players with a positive attitude.Dress code requires solid navy blue scrubs, with no T-shirts allowed.Candidates are encouraged to apply if they have experience in a high-volume unit and internal monitor placement competency.The unit values attendance and adherence to unit policies and guidelines.This position offers opportunities to work with new equipment and technology and be part of a dedicated team.
