Job Summary


  • Responsible for the activities of the shift including assignment of work and resource allocation of staff, equipment, assignments, and scheduling.

  • Utilizes standards, guidelines, protocols and pathways for optimal care delivery and unit workflow.

  • Actively participates in Quality Improvement, direct observations, and medical record reviews.

  • Acts as the clinical expert and resource for staff

  • Supports unit management in activities to meet department goals.

  • Participates in evaluating, coaching and mentoring staff under the direction of the clinical manager and department director.

Requirements


  • Maryland RN License (or other Nurse Licensure Compact state)

  • American Heart Association BLS/CPR

  • 3-5 years experience

Salary Range: Minimum 52.33/hour - Maximum 81.11/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
