Job summary

Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center is seeking a skilled RN for its Internal Float Pool, providing coverage across Med/Surg, Telemetry, and ED Boarding units.

You will deliver patient-centered care, adapt to multiple workflows, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality outcomes. This role requires an accredited nursing program, an active RN license, BLS, and at least 18 months of Med/Surg or Telemetry experience, with 2 years preferred, plus flexible scheduling including

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state of practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA) required.
• Minimum 18 months Med Surg or Telemetry RN experience; 2 years preferred.
• Flexibility with scheduling: self-scheduling and one weekend shift per 6 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Float between Med/Surg, Telemetry, and ED Boarding units across shifts.
• Deliver safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care in fast-paced settings.
• Adapt quickly to unit workflows and support teams with professionalism.
• Demonstrate strong communication, decision-making, and leadership.
• Contribute to a safe patient environment and positive experience.
