Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intermediate Care Unit on the nights shift at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. The position is full time, 36 hours per week, with hours from 7:00pm to 7:30am and every other weekend.

You will assess patients, coordinate care plans, educate families, and participate in quality improvement to maintain high nursing standards and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsabilités

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are consistent, safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with all customers, in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on a thorough assessment to meet their learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice via quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.
